Paying Attention to God in Our Lives
The more aware we are of our blessings and burdens, the more ready we are to find where God is leading us. The awareness prayer helps us to pay attention to how God is present to us and where God may be calling us. This online evening will be led by Piaras Jackson SJ and Aileen Murphy RLR.

Scripture texts
At God’s invitation (Isaiah 28:23), we follow Jesus’ example of frequent prayer, (Luke 5:16), the Examen helps us to recognise what God is showing to us ((Matthew 11:25, 2 Corinthians 13:5), to address our needs to God (Matthew 6:9–13), to grow in gratitude (Luke 17:11–19), and, asking for what we need (Matthew 7:7), to trust in God’s guiding Spirit (John 16:13) as we grow in friendship with God (John 15:15) and in engagement with God’s people (Luke 9:1–9).
