Discernment in Common and Apostolic Planning (DICAP)
The environment in which church-related institutions evolve and operate is increasingly complex, and calls for new approaches, deeply rooted in mission, discernment, and genuine collaboration: ‘listening to the Spirit in our communities’ and ‘enacting synodality through a culture of discernment, participation and shared responsibility’ (Synod on Solidarity, Final Report, 2024).
But if you’re someone who leads or facilitates groups within the Church, what does this mean in practice and how do you acquire the training and skills you need?
The aim of this programme in discernment in common and apostolic planning is to foster and deepen your capacity for discernment in a way that will enable and support you and your group or community to respond to the promptings of the Spirit amid complexity and change.
