Sustainability

Reflecting the 2019 universal preferences of the Society of Jesus, Manresa includes as an element of its mission, “to respond to Pope Francis’ call to ecological conversion”, committing itself to working with Jesuits worldwide in expressing care for the earth in practical and tangible ways. Networks such as EcoJesuit (www.ecojesuit.com) and application of Pope Francis’ 2015 encyclical, Laudato Si’, motivate and encourage Manresa both to implement and model good practice in care for resources.
