Update on Coronavirus (COVID–19)

We should pray also for those at the frontlines – especially doctors, nurses and medical staff and other carers, including clergy – that the Lord will protect them as they place their own wellbeing at risk in the service of all. (Statement of Irish Bishops)

Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19), all programmes until Sunday 19 April 2020 are cancelled or postponed.

Participants will be contacted.

Manresa may be able to remain open for limited use by individuals and small groups. Manresa and any intending visitors will naturally follow the guidelines and expectations published by public bodies in relation to Coronavirus (COVID–19).

The health and well-being of our staff and visitors is of utmost importance. A number of measures are in place to ensure the health, safety and peace of mind of those visiting Manresa and are reflected in notices in different areas of the Centre.

Operating in line with the published directives, some activities continue. People wishing to attend meetings organised by third parties (such as Alcoholics Anonymous) may contact the organisers.

The usual Guest Information booklet is supplemented by information in relation to public health concerns; provisions and procedures already in place will be developed in line with emerging information.

All visitors are asked to read and observe the provisions available at reception and in public areas.

Cancellations by individuals and groups are currently being accepted, any deposits being returned or held against future use, as desired.

The Government directive applies until Sunday 19 April 2020. Anyone who has registered with Manresa for an event to take place before that date will be contacted about its status. Plans are still in place for events after that date and remain subject to ongoing review.
