Our Common Home

This is a weekend to reflect and pray on our common home. Inspired by Laudato Si’, Donal Dorr will guide participants through themes of the Pope’s document, offering scriptural and theological perspectives to guide reflection and prayer. The talks will be offered against a backdrop of silence and contemplation, allowing for the beautiful natural setting of Manresa to be offer its own voice.
Inputs will be offered on Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday. Those wishing to stay on Sunday night can avail of the public holiday to enjoy unstructured time of quiet. Sunday Eucharist will be celebrated.

Manresa is set in a UNESCO biosphere reserve, close to Dollymount Strand, the Bull Island and St Anne’s Park. This weekend will appeal to individuals or to small groups already committed to developing environmental consciousness.
