• Isaiah 9:2,3 – the people who walked in darkness have seen a great light.
• Isaiah 9:4,5 – God promises a lifting of burdens and a bright future.
• Isaiah 7:10-17 - the young woman is with child and shall bear a son.
• Isaiah 11:1-9 - a shoot shall come from the stump of Jesse.
