... Holy Week Guided Retreat

This retreat, which begins on Friday, 30 March, 2012, and ends on Easter Sunday morning (8 April), is designed to help you enter more deeply into the mystery of Christ's life and of the Pascal Mystery in particular.

In 2012, it will be led by Fr. David Harold-Barry, S.J., who is currently Director of Silveira House Leadership and Development Training Centre in Chishawasha, Zimbabwe.

During the retreat, Fr. Harold-Barry will give a substantial input each morning, after which he and members of the Manresa team will be available to meet retreatants personally.

The Eucharist will be celebrated each evening, and Eucharistic adoration will be available for those who wish.  The retreat will culminate with the celebration of the Easter Triduum.

To facilitate the growth of inner stillness and a prayerful disposition, the retreat, including meals, will be spent in silence.  Participants are encouraged to leave aside the 'busy' accessories normally taken for granted - mobile phones, radios, newspapers, etc. - in order to keep the heart focused on 'the one thing necessary' (LK. 10:42).
