Dublin Chapter - Woodstock Business Conference

Help us Launch the Dublin Chapter of the
Woodstock Business Conference

As we in Ireland read the signs of the times in the wake of the global financial crisis and amid the deepest recession in generations, what is the role of committed Christian business professionals in leading their businesses in Ireland and as part of a global society?

The Dublin Chapter of the Woodstock Business Conference (WBC) is in its formative stages and is looking for committed Christian business professionals to explore concrete answers to the role business leaders have in addressing the pressing challenges of our time. Founded in 1992 and coordinated by the internationally renowned Woodstock Theological Center at Georgetown University in Washington DC, the WBC is a network of business executives who are striving to “move with practical wisdom toward greater integration in their lives and more effective leadership.”

The Dublin Chapter is envisioned as a spiritually grounded forum that will meet monthly to reflect on and confidentially discuss business and economic issues and how we can practically address them as committed Christian business leaders and to better understand how we are called to a vocation as a business leader to use our talents as a good steward.

The Woodstock Business Conference’s stated mission is to establish a network of business leaders to explore the Judeo-Christian tradition in order:

• to assist the individual to integrate faith, family and professional life;
• to help the leadership of the firm to develop a corporate culture consistent with Judeo-Christian values; and,
• to aid business leaders and corporations to exercise a beneficial influence upon society at large.

We are looking for business professionals to help us launch the Chapter in the coming months. Please give us a call and we would be happy to provide more information.
