Advent Triduum (2) (11-15 Dec)
Choose either the first or second week of Advent to spend some time with the seasonal themes. Centered on the themes of Advent and Christmas, and in an atmosphere of silent prayer and reflection, these days provide an opportunity for people to get in touch with the real meaning of the season and the real wonder of what we celebrate.
These days invite the retreatant to consider what home means in Advent. Presenting a range of images, music, poetry and video, Piaras Jackson SJ will lead participants In a quiet exploration intended to deepen appreciation of what it means to speak of “Our common home” or “God’s home in us” in the light of Advent’s message of waiting, hope and conversion.
This year, our first Triduum will begin on the evening of Monday, 4 December, finishing with Mass and breakfast on the morning of Friday, 8 December. The second Triduum will take place a week later: beginning on Monday 11 December and ending on the morning of Friday 15 December.
Daily Mass, adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and opportunities for the Sacrament of Reconciliation will be available. Early booking is recommended to ensure a place.
