In memory of Anthony de Mello, S.J., and in the spirit he brought to the people of God, we are presenting a series of evenings for those who are interested in understanding de Mello's message and using it in their daily lives.
Anthony de Mello (1931-1987) was an Indian Jesiut priest who combined in a unique way the spirituality of St. Ignatius Loyola and elements from ancient eastern traditions.
An internationally renowned spiritual guide, writer and public speaker, Fr, de Mello travelled widely to all parts of the world, including Ireland, before his untimely death at the age of fifty-six.

Fr. John Callanan, S.J., who will direct this course, has conducted many retreats and prayer workshops, both in Ireland and abroad, using the insights and methodology of Anthony de Mello.
Through the use of imagination, awareness exercises, group discussion and creative visualisation he hopes to awaken greater awareness of our giftedness and to open up new pathways to God.
John is author of several books, including The Spirit of Tony de Mello, Dreaming with Tony de mello, Finding Fire with Tony de Mello and Watering the Desert with Tony de Mello.
This series of evenings will be based on some of de Mello's basic principles for wholesome living, using guided meditations and fantasy exercises.
