In this programme of 8 Tuesday evenings, beginning on 8 February 2011 and continuing fortnightly until 17 May 2011, participants will be guided through some of the key moments of the Ignatian spiritual journey. Each evening session will involve some short introductory input; time for personal reflection on that input and a harvesting of the riches of each pilgrim’s reflection in discrete sharing. To ensure optimum personal benefit from the course, interested participants must be prepared to commit themselves from the outset to attending all sessions; to have a capacity for personal prayerful reflection and to be prepared to share in a manner they feel appropriate. Ignatius wrote in the Spiritual Exercises, “It is not knowing much, but realising and relishing things interiorly, that contents and satisfies the person.” The aim of this course is to help you experience together the graces of the Spiritual Exercises and so enrich your life of faith and service.
